Stepping Through Care with Dr. Val — Faith-Centered Strength and Support for Caregivers — offers Scripture, encouragement, music, a private journal and a caring community for adult caregivers of every gender, age, race, and background — whether you are caring for a parent, spouse, child, relative, friend, church member, client, or patient. By using the app, you agree to these terms.

Stepping Through Care provides spiritual encouragement, reflection tools, and peer support. It does not provide professional medical, legal, mental-health, or emergency services.

Nothing in this app diagnoses, treats or replaces care from a doctor, nurse, counselor, attorney or other professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number right away.

Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and give accurate information when you create an account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account or participate in the Care Circle. You must be 18 or older to sign up, and accounts found to belong to anyone under 18 are closed.

• Speak with kindness. This is a place of rest, not argument.
• No harassment, hate, threats, spam or selling of any kind.
• Do not share another person’s private health details or contact information without their permission.
• Do not give medical advice or promise cures.
• Report anything troubling — posts are moderated and may be removed.

Accounts that break these rules may be limited or closed. What you post stays yours; by posting, you allow it to be shown to other caregivers in the app.

Songs, devotionals and writing in this app belong to Dr. Val and are for your personal encouragement. Please do not copy, re-record or resell them. Scripture is public domain (KJV, ASV, WEB) or used with permission, and is always labeled.

We do our best to keep the app running and your work saved, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Please keep your own copy of anything precious — Profile & privacy lets you export your journal. These terms may be updated, and continuing to use the app means you accept the update.
