A Moment for Me

Rest is not selfish. Rest renews your strength.

One minute of breathing

Before you begin: Participate only if it is safe for you. Stop if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or discomfort, and follow the guidance of your healthcare professional.

Ready when you are

60 seconds remaining

Five-minute rest reminder

Set down what you are holding. Five minutes of quiet does not undo your care — it protects it.

A short prayer

Lord, You know how tired I am. Meet me in this small quiet moment. Carry what I cannot carry today. Amen.

Gentle stretching

Before you begin: Participate only if it is safe for you. Stop if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or discomfort, and follow the guidance of your healthcare professional.

  • Roll your shoulders slowly backward five times.
  • Open and close your hands ten times, then let your arms hang loose.
  • Turn your head gently to the right, then the left, and pause in each.
  • Stand and reach toward the ceiling for one slow breath.

Hydration

Before you begin: Participate only if it is safe for you. Stop if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or discomfort, and follow the guidance of your healthcare professional. Some conditions limit how much fluid is safe.

Have you had water in the last two hours?

Gratitude reflection

  • One thing my hands were able to do today.
  • One person who checked on me this month.
  • One small mercy I almost missed.
Write it in my journal

Asking for help

You were never meant to carry this alone. Choose one task this week that someone else could do, and ask one person to do it.

Evening reflection

Before you sleep: name one thing you gave today, and one thing God gave you. Then let the rest of the day go.
